The Sound of Light Photo Exhibit Opens July 15 at Public Images Gallery
Free exhibit features photography from Jeff Fasano and Phil Clarkin
TULSA, Okla. June 22, 2026 – The Sound of Light, a free, all-ages photography exhibit by photographers Jeff Fasano and Phil Clarkin, opens Wednesday, July 15 at the Public Images Gallery, 1507 E 11th Street Tulsa. The exhibit is on display through Sept. 26 and features dozens of music-themed images, including concert shots from multiple venues and musician portraits, as well as a selection of photos of iconic Tulsa landmarks and cityscapes.
Fasano is known for his portraits of notable musicians, actors, artists and creative pioneers around the world. As one of the foremost photographers of the Americana music scene, Fasano has worked with everyone from T Bone Burnett and Hot Tuna to Marcus King and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. John Oates says Fasano’s images are “authentic, revealing and give us a penetrating look into the soul of his subjects… [capturing] their personality with honesty and unguarded truthfulness.”
Clarkin is Tulsa’s premiere concert photographer. During his career, he’s shot hundreds of concerts and festivals throughout the country and created press photos for multiple musicians. His work has appeared in numerous national publications, including Pollstar magazine, No Depression, Consequence, and more.
“I’m thrilled for my work to be a part of this exhibit with my new friend and colleague, Jeff Fasano,” says Clarkin. “We share a love of music and the art of photography, and we’re excited to celebrate that passion with a greater audience through The Sound of Light.”
Photographer meet and greet opportunities will be announced as scheduled. Signed limited edition prints and event posters are available for purchase.
